Bluestreak™ Shop Floor - Prioritized Job List The Bluestreak™ Shop Floor module allows detailed tracking of each part in a work order through all of the operational steps, with Bluestreak™ MES there is ZERO software to install at any workstation because the application is deployed within a web browser. The interface is designed to be easily used with either a touch-screen or a mouse.

The main screen, the Prioritized Job List shown on the left, gives the shop floor user a quick view of any Work Center queue. Work orders that are available to process are not colored, orders in-process are shown in green, and orders on-hold are displayed in red. ALL information about the work order is immediately available to any worker on the shop floor, including attached documents like part pictures, drawings, purchase orders, etc. There are companies who have gone completely paperless after implementing Bluestreak™ MES Shop Floor. A data collection software “plug-in” is a feature that allows your shop personnel to record important process data “anytime – anywhere” during the work-flow of the parts.

Bluestreak™ Shop Floor - Work In Process (WIP) Parts from a work order are tracked and “moved” to subsequent operations through a paradigm of Loads. The part(s) in a single work order can be combined with as many other parts from as many other work orders as needed, in any number of loads. Work order bar codes can be scanned or loads can be built quickly even without using barcodes. If parts from a work order are split into multiple loads at operation Step 2, they automatically are recombined at operation Step 3 where the parts can be split again or simply processed as a single load – a choice that gives you ultimate flexibility to do what needs to be done on the shop floor. Accurate, detailed data can ONLY be obtained from the people actually doing the work on the shop floor. You will not believe the paperwork time Shop Floor saves operators because all the recording is done by Bluestreak™; no more manual recording of loads – this will literally save hours of time every day.

Bluestreak™ Shop Floor - Work In Process (WIP) History When a customer calls to find out when their order(s) will be delivered, you can immediately find the exact status of ANY work order, and all of its parts, by viewing the Work In Process status page as shown on the left. If you need to see the detailed information about every load for every operation, then the WIP History screen is just a click away; you can even print it out if you need to provide detailed processing information to your customer or an auditor.

  • Detailed and exact tracking of every part, by quantity, through every desired operation.
  • Unlimited number of loads per operation; unlimited number of orders per load.
